I have sold a property at 11939 51 ST in Edmonton.
Great location, substantially upgraded 2+1 bedroom, 2 full bathroom character bungalow in Newton! This home has had many upgrades over recent years but still maintains it's original charm with a cove ceiling in the living room and original hardwood floors in upstairs living room and bedrooms. Some features include: Brand new kitchen reno with built in dishwasher, tile flooring updated upstairs bathroom, modern paint, all windows have been upgraded to triple pane and there's newer carpeting in the basement Additional upgrades include: front stairs and decorative front door, most appliances, Gas BBQ hook-up at the back patio and an 8 year old double detached garage. The property also has a back flow water valve, 100 amp electrical and shingles that were replaced in approximately 2004. There's extra storage, a full bath, laundry and bedroom in the fully finished basement. This home is situated on a beautiful mature tree lined street, and has a large fully fenced landscaped yard. Move in ready!
Today’s Bank of Canada rate hold announcement marks almost four straight years that the key benchmark rate has remained unchanged, since September 8, 2010. Great news if you have a variable-rate mortgage or home equity line of credit; the prime rate stays at 3%.
The announcement noted that “the risks to the outlook for inflation remain roughly balanced, while the risks associated with household imbalances have not diminished.” With these considerations, the Bank is maintaining its monetary policy stimulus, and remains neutral with respect to the timing and direction of the next change.
The next rate-setting day is October 22nd.
